Heatmap Hexabin Overlay

CrimeoMeter generates crime riskmaps available through an API, that provide access to a hexabin overlays file (kml). A hexabin overlay is a collection of hexagons that are displayed on top of a base map (such as Google Maps).

Every hexagon is placed on an x/y location and scales according to the zoom level.
