The number of crime incidents in Philadelphia saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous rise, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 14,035 for June-2026 down from 14,468 for May-2026 (-3% change).

The offenses that decreased the most were Drug/Narcotic Violations and Simple Assault. Drug/Narcotic Violations fell to 141 incidents last month, from 196 the month before. (-28.1% change). Simple Assault went from 2,623 to 2,524 (-3.8% change).
Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Theft From Motor Vehicle went from 819 to 925 incidents (+12.9% change). Incidents of Motor Vehicle Theft rose from 1,246 to 1,296 incidents (+4% change).
