The number of crime incidents in San Francisco saw an overall increase last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents increased to 8,386 for Dec-2023 up from 8,344 for Nov-2023 (+0.5% change)
Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Shoplifting went from 196 to 267 incidents (+36.2% change). Incidents of Robbery rose from 207 to 230 incidents (+11.1% change). Drug/Narcotic Violations went up from 343 to 380 incidents (+10.8% change).
