The number of crime incidents in Seattle saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 5,044 for Sep-2022 down from 6,079 for Aug-2022 (-17% change).
The offenses that decreased the most were Theft From Motor Vehicle and Robbery. Theft From Motor Vehicle fell to 560 incidents last month, from 797 the month before. (-29.7% change). Robbery went from 163 to 115 (-29.4% change).
