Crime declining in Denver: What's the latest in the trend? - Feb ’26

The number of crime incidents in Denver saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous rise, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 4,596 for Feb-2026 down from 5,127 for Jan-2026 (-10.4% change).



The offenses that decreased the most were Robbery and Theft From Motor Vehicle. Robbery fell to 65 incidents last month, from 89 the month before. (-27% change). Theft From Motor Vehicle went from 491 to 383 (-22% change).


Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Burglary/Breaking & Entering went from 223 to 242 incidents (+8.5% change).
