Crime declining in Denver: What's the latest in the trend? - Nov ’25

The number of crime incidents in Denver saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 5,036 for Nov-2025 down from 5,440 for Oct-2025 (-7.4% change).

The offenses that decreased the most were Simple Assault and Burglary/Breaking & Entering. Simple Assault fell to 304 incidents last month, from 340 the month before (-10.6% change). Burglary/Breaking & Entering went from 303 to 278 incidents (-8.3% change).
Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Drug/Narcotic Violations went from 163 to 166 incidents (+1.8% change). Incidents of Robbery rose from 74 to 75 incidents (+1.4% change).
