Crime declining in Philadelphia: What's the latest in the trend? - Oct ’25

The number of crime incidents in Philadelphia saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous rise, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 13,386 for Oct-2025 down
from 14,300 for Sep-2025 (-6.4% change).

The offenses that decreased the most were Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property and Burglary/Breaking & Entering. Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property fell to 1,008 incidents last month, from 1,168 the month before. (-13.7% change). Burglary/Breaking & Entering went from 424 to 372 (-12.3% change).
Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Robbery went from 311 to 335 incidents (+7.7% change).
