The number of crime incidents in Denver saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 5,237 for Jun-2025 down from 5,940 for May-2025 (-11.8% change).

The offenses that decreased the most were Motor Vehicle Theft and Shoplifting. Motor Vehicle Theft fell to 412 incidents last month, from 588 the month before. (-29.9% change). Shoplifting went from 327 to 258 (-21.1% change).
Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Robbery went from 68 to 103 incidents (+51.5% change). Incidents of Aggravated Assault rose from 173 to 179 incidents (+3.5% change).
