Crime going down in Los Angeles: What's the latest in the trend? - Feb ’24


The number of crime incidents in Los Angeles saw an overall decrease last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents fell to 15,658 for Feb- 2024 down from 17,954 for Jan-2024 (-12.8% change).

The offenses that decreased the most were Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property and Robbery. Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property fell to 1,277 incidents last month, from 1,494 the month before. (-14.5% change). Robbery went from 777 to 671 incidents (-13.6% change).
