The number of crime incidents in Nashville saw an overall increase last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents increased to 10,014 for Dec-2023 up from 9,998 for Nov-2023 (+0.2% change).
Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Motor Vehicle Theft went from 659 to 790 incidents (+19.9% change). Incidents of Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property rose from 552 to 639 incidents (+15.8% change). Robbery went up from 150 to 170 incidents (+13.3% change).
