The number of crime incidents in Philadelphia saw an overall increase last month, after a previous decrease, according to data from CrimeoMeter. Incidents increased to 12,629 for Mar-2025 up from 10,533 for Feb-2025 (+19.9% change).

Among the types of offenses that saw an uptick last month, reports of Motor Vehicle Theft went from 935 to 1,203 incidents (+28.7% change). Incidents of Theft From Motor Vehicle rose from 586 to 740 incidents (+26.3% change). Drug/Narcotic Violations went up from 194 to 232 incidents (+19.6% change).
